I've been coming here to hang out pretty regularly since May, and I've only had good things to say. The food is good and reasonably priced. What I like most is the waitress Raquel, who's kind, fun to chat with, and always checks that I'm doing okay. I'm looking forward to many more visits to see Raquel.

This is a good place for a weekend. I used to come by about two years ago to play pool. The staff were cool, and most of the working girls were cool too. One woman in particular was absolutely stunning and classy, just out of this world!

The staff are great with both languages, the bartenders are cute, and the rooms have AC and big, firm mattresses. You can walk to the cultural and recreational spots SJO has to offer. The on-site restaurant serves terrific food, and the bar stays open until midnight, sometimes a little later. Happy hour runs until 7, and there's security at the door to keep everyone safe. Free parking ❤️

We asked for a room away from the bar and they were happy to arrange it. The Sportsman Lodge is secure and well kept, with very clean rooms and staff who paid attention to what we needed. The food was excellent, and watching games in the lively evenings was especially fun. We had a very satisfying stay and would recommend it. Ask for a room away from the bar if you want it quieter.
