The porch on the hillside has an amazing view when the weather is clear, and the two swinging chairs make it a perfect spot for a beautiful sunset. The guest house itself was lovely, and the family made us feel very welcome. We shared breakfast and, even though we only knew a few words of each other’s languages, we learned a lot about one another’s families. A beautiful place, guesthouse, and people.

The cedar paneling in the beautiful rooms smells wonderful, and the place is good value. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and their breakfasts were tasty. I wish there were a small refrigerator and a hot water pot. Housekeeping was mostly absent, which was the one negative.

We’re on our honeymoon and won’t soon forget our wonderful stay at Campo Verde. The local family who own it were very helpful and recommended activities so well; they also helped us book everything, and we came back happy from each experience. Breakfast was amazing. I tried all three options and loved the traditional one, while my husband fell for the homemade pancakes and ordered them all four mornings in a row. Mil gracias por todo!

The hosts really look after their guests, and the breakfasts were very good. It’s a beautiful location, ideal for visiting the Monteverde reserve, with the family-run Wildlife Refuge Monteverde nearby. We met Brenda, who works and helps at the hotel. She’s a very nice, friendly, wonderful person. Thank you, Brenda. Damian and Klaudia from Poland recommend the hotel. We had a nice time.

The family business was so welcoming and made it easy to relax and reconnect with nature. Our room was very clean, spacious, cozy, and nicely designed, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, so try the pancakes or omelette. Don’t miss the night hike to see the animals. Just ask Andres, the owner, and he can arrange it. The hospitality and willingness to help were remarkable. We had a wonderful time at Casa Campos Verde in Costa Rica.
