My family and I loved our time at Finca Murillo. The family's kindness and warm welcome meant a lot to us. They own and run a farm, introduced us to their cows, offered horseback rides, and their kids came by to show the children their bunny. Their dog Caesar also visited while we sat on the deck and walked the trails to watch the sunset. The views were incredible, and being in a quieter part of Monteverde felt so serene. We're grateful we got to stay and meet such wonderful people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

The views and sunsets over Monteverde were incredible, and we spotted local wildlife on the hiking route. The team was exceptionally kind and attentive: they sent clear arrival instructions, checked on us during the stay, and sorted out any issues quickly. A complimentary horseback ride around the property was a memorable extra. The cabin was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bed and a thoughtfully planned layout. The kitchen is simple but has the essentials. There's a supermarket a short drive away, and town takes less than 15 minutes by car, so stocking up is easy. A car is recommended. A peaceful, nature-focused stay with thoughtful hosts, highly recommended.

The trail behind our cabin climbed to the top of the hill, where a well-kept grassy clearing and a couple of benches gave us an even better view of the landscape and sunset. We were lucky to get a clear evening, and the sunset over the lush valleys, hills, and distant sparkling ocean was unforgettable. From the quiet, nature-filled hillside at Finca Murillo, the cabins had neat rooms and well-stocked kitchens. The owners kindly showed us their cow farm, where we met more than 20 calves, all under 5 months old. The next morning they provided horseback riding, and the horses were gentle and friendly. Their 12-year-old dog Kaiser was friendly too. He met us on the hilltop, played with us, and happily took pets and belly rubs. This was an unforgettable day and night during our family vacation in Monteverde, CR. Highly recommended!

The hosts were kind, communicative, and accommodating, and the view is beyond compare. Be sure to take their horseback tour. This place deserves every star.
