We came as a big group and spent four nights here. The food was so good we ate two meals a day at the place, and I loved the ceilings. A beautiful stay. I'd come back on my next trip.

The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and hot water, and they're nicely decorated with tall ceilings. I also found the hostal clean, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. It's affordable and centrally located near Parque Leoncio Vidal in Santa Clara. I felt safe leaving my passport, money, and belongings there, and nothing happened. For the price and service, I recommend it over the government hotels.

The food at the hostal was fantastic. We had dinner there on two nights and couldn't finish the generous portions, especially loved the fish and langosta. Breakfast was very good too. My parents and I stayed for three days in July 2022; it was peaceful, and the family running the place was welcoming but reserved. Our room was clean and spacious, and the hostal is right by the historic center, which has a rich history.
