Hotel Residencial GOA

The calm courtyard and sea-facing terrace were such lovely places to unwind. I only wish we'd had longer there. Raphaëlle and Stan are charming, and their staff are lovely too. When Stan welcomed us, he explained all the things to do nearby, and suddenly we felt there wasn't enough time. He can even walk with you to the village restaurant if you want. But if you get the chance to eat at the hotel around the big table, don't miss it. It felt like a magical evening. The scenery on arrival is breathtaking, and at first you wonder what you're doing in such a tiny, secluded village. Then Stan appears, and the whole place feels magical. A stay in a little corner of paradise. If I come back to São Vicente, I know where I'll stay.

Raphael and Stan put so much effort into making every part of the stay enjoyable. Their hard work gives the place a special charm that it wouldn't have otherwise. Congratulations to them for transforming it. That's what I remember about Goa. The landscape and buildings matter, but for me, the people are what make a place. When you meet peaceful, friendly, polite people, you remember the good time you shared with them. Without Raphael and Stan, Goa might feel strange and inhospitable, and little more. Their commitment changes that.

We felt right at home during our two wonderful nights with Stan and Raphaelle. They were so friendly, and we enjoyed every moment. Calhau is a small village, just right for a proper break. There are two beautiful walks around the hotel too. Thank you so much.
