The rooftop terrace has a great panoramic view over the city and bay, and the apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood just a five-minute walk from Mindelo's centre, with bars, restaurants, markets, and shops nearby. It’s a freshly renovated apartment with a spacious room, a comfortable bed, and basic kitchen equipment. Just be aware this isn't a luxury apartment. Like much Capverdian housing, the shower water isn't heated and is around 20°C. La Terraza is run by the local NGO Si Ma Bô, which cares for stray cats&dogs, and the stay price goes directly toward their daily expenses. A nice way to make your time in Mindelo more ethical.

I spent two weeks at the terrace, and it was unforgettable. The view is amazing, one of the best in Mindelo, and the privacy is very high. It’s a great spot for a couple wanting a romantic dinner outdoors on a rooftop with that view. The quality is great for the price.

A quiet place to unwind, with a view across part of Mindelo and the sea. The rooms and terrace use recycled furnishings, decorated with imagination and taste. It’s only steps from the centre, in a peaceful area, and a lovely base for spending time in Mindelo.
