The location near the best hikes in Paul valley and the welcoming feel made this a lovely stay. Staff were consistently warm, professional, helpful, and spoke English. The food was very good, with fresh dishes, and the kitchen team gladly handled requests like vegan meals. The biggest issue was the damp in the rooms. Even with the windows open, towels stayed wet after two days, and mold seemed like a real risk. Air conditioning or proper dehumidification would help. Breakfast was limited too, with room for better bread, more fruit, cereal, spreads, and vegetables. Vegan guests may want to bring breakfast food.

We loved how peaceful it felt here and didn’t want to leave. The pool was a refreshing place to unwind after a day out, and the staff were really helpful and accommodating. With hiking trails right outside and breathtaking views, it’s a great spot for nature lovers. The food was delicious too. We would happily stay again.

The breakfast and dinner were really good, and apart from the landlord, the employees, especially Leny at reception, were lovely. The pool and the place itself are amazing. Be careful about tour prices. Shared vans can take you where you want for €3 instead of €75. The landlord was drinking and smoking in the living room all the time, and I’m not sure the employees were always treated well. The booking was under my friend Charlène’s name. We stayed six days ago.

The walks nearby were fabulous, and after a strenuous one, the pool was lovely for cooling off against that amazing backdrop. We also enjoyed the local rum and the food at Aldea. Hotel Aldea is in one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited, and the quirky accommodation felt a world away from a city hotel, which made the stay special. Everyone, including the owner, was friendly and very helpful. It’s one of our best memories of CV, and I highly recommend it.

The views are magnificent, and the quiet setting, pool, and terrace are lovely. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and we got a warm welcome. Our room wasn’t large, but it had what we needed and the beds were good. It stayed cool without air conditioning. Breakfast is basic. Dinner is a decent three courses, nothing fancy. One evening’s live music made for a great atmosphere. The chickens start up very early, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
