The low price is tempting, but read the details carefully: the shower and toilet are shared and outside the room. There’s no reception or regular staff presence, and messages don’t always get answered. When it was very cold at night, I asked the person in charge for a better blanket. She said they’d handle it in the morning, which didn’t help me overnight. The stay was unpleasant, and there was nothing on the balcony, not even chairs or a table. If all you need is somewhere to sleep before leaving early, it might do, but I wouldn’t recommend it otherwise. I’d pay a little more for a better standard.

For a low price, we had air conditioning, hot water, a very clean toilet, and a kitchen we shared with other guests. There was even laundry detergent when we stayed, so washing clothes was easy. The place is two minutes from the sea, in the center next to the cathedral, and our requests were always handled quickly. When we needed a blanket, one came right away. One small hassle across Cyprus is that the outlets are different, so you’ll need an adapter, which costs three euros.

The house is spacious and about a 3-minute walk from the Chabad house. It has a Shabbat plate, so it works well for people who observe Shabbat.
