We spent a week here. The price for what you get seems fair to me, though there were clear pros and cons. The location in Kruše and the village worked well, and the owner was communicative and quickly sorted things out when a problem came up. Inside, the cottage was spotless, had lots of storage, and the kitchen was practically equipped. There was a bicycle garage, plenty of toys, games, and books for kids, plus ground coffee and a coffee maker. The garden was a real letdown: unkempt, overgrown, and cluttered with junk and faded balloons and toys. I wouldn’t let the kids use the swings. We didn’t spend time out there, which was a shame on a summer holiday, especially with nowhere nice to sit and no well-kept fireplace or grill. The garage was full of junk from who knows how many generations. You can put a bike in it, but it feels scary. All the bathrooms are upstairs with the bedrooms, so if you’re in the living room or kitchen in the evening, you have to go up the stairs. There’s also a partly dilapidated industrial area opposite the cottage, though that’s just how it is in Krušky and it didn’t bother us. Since it’s an old house, downstairs gets cold and upstairs gets hot, but you can manage it.
