A delicious breakfast and friendly, helpful staff made this a fantastic place to stay. It's very central and reasonably priced.

The staff were fantastic when my partner had an accident and needed an operation, and I had to extend our stay. Because of the language barrier, they called taxis for my daily hospital trips, booked a shuttle bus back to Prague, and arranged a late checkout. My room was comfortable and made up daily. There was no air-conditioning, but the fan worked fine for me. The hotel is in a great spot, not far from the main square. Cesky Krumlov is such a beautiful town, it's a must-see.

6/10
The rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, and lovely, and the hotel has a fantastic setting and atmosphere. Breakfast was pleasant and included, though on our final day it had moved to a sister hotel without anyone telling us. The building and its history are wonderful, but the service let the stay down badly. Housekeeping missed washcloths, fresh Kleenex, enough clean towels, shampoo, and conditioner; the beds were barely made, and spiderwebs hung from the ceiling. The elevator only reaches the second floor, with no help offered for guests going to the third. The front desk wasn't very helpful either. It could have been a four-star stay if those basics had been handled.
