The reception and breakfast are in the next building, about 20 meters away. The hotel itself is in a lovely medieval building with no elevator, so it won’t suit you if you can’t climb stairs. If stairs are fine for you, it’s lovely. Rooms are big and clean, and the central location is perfect. Good value for money.

Staying in a medieval house was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, right in the old town and just a hundred metres from the castle. Good restaurants and shops are very close too. There are no lifts, so travel light if you don’t want to haul your luggage up the stairs!

The rooms are large and tastefully furnished, and the hotel is in a great spot next to the main square. Breakfast had a big choice of sweet and salty foods. Staff were friendly and attentive. Reception closes at 8pm, but if you arrive later they arrange check-in at a hotel next door.

The staff were wonderful, kind, and very helpful. The room, bed, bathroom, and other accommodations were great and everything was very clean. It was quiet at night, so I got some good undisturbed rest. The hotel is a short walk from the river and castle. Breakfast was very good and included in the price. I’d happily come back!

Other rooms seemed much better. We had room 9, and I’d avoid the top floor. There were no windows, the roof beams in the floor made a trip hazard, and you couldn’t stand in the bath to shower.
