Mini Hotel Abraka

The host was AMAZING, so kind and accommodating. They were available for our questions and even helped when we left some things behind. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the location is central. It's a beautiful but cozy 14th century building, with a lovely courtyard/deck for fine weather. Very family friendly, and parking was included and easy, just a stroll away. I'd highly recommend it.

The setting in the old town center is lovely, but getting there with luggage is awkward. There’s no route for wheeling bags, so you have to carry them, and cars can’t reach it because the area is pedestrian only. The building itself is ancient, with uneven floors, and the spacious rooms feel very outdated. I was also disappointed that the Bohemia restaurant only accepts cash in Czech koruna. The owner does leave guests coffee, tea, and fruit.

Most sights are an easy walk from this hotel, right in the old town, and you can get 10% off at the restaurant and café downstairs. The entrance is a little unexpected: the ground floor seems to be a small shop, so we followed Google Maps inside and went up a few steps to reach the shared area. Since it’s a historic building, you use physical keys for the entrance and your room. Hanna was so welcoming and gave us useful ideas for nearby attractions and scenic walks. In the common area there’s a kettle with hot water, free fruit, and bottled water, plus a little balcony with blankets where you can sunbathe. Our room was clean and cozy, and the shower had a built-in seat and steady water temperature, which made for a comfortable, unhurried shower.

We had a booking.com glitch that cancelled our reservation halfway through the stay. The host sorted it out helpfully without any support from booking.com. The hotel was spotless and a perfect little place for the price. We’ll definitely come back!
