Villa Marie

The owners are lovely and easy to communicate with. The accommodation is great, with clean, nicely kept rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and more. There’s also a luxurious private wellness area with a jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, and infrared sauna. We’ll definitely return, and I recommend it to everyone.

The main drawback was the strong smoke smell that came in through the windows every day, morning, afternoon, and night. It smelled like coal or something, and in July I couldn’t tell whether the neighbor had a blacksmith shop or was simply cold. There’s no lockable bike shed, which seems like it should be standard in a cycling region. At least we could leave our bikes in the hallway, though I doubt the whole guesthouse would have fit there. The rooms and accommodation themselves are nice and well furnished, with no other particular complaints. Air conditioning upstairs might be useful, but it is what it is.

It’s a quiet spot away from the main road, and you can reach Český Krumlov or Lipno quickly by car. The place is very nice, with pleasant surroundings, lots of equipment, and everything very clean.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The owner was lovely, and there was parking. It’s a short distance from Český Krumlov and Lipno, with beautiful nature all around.
