The hotel felt peaceful, with lovely interiors and a quiet atmosphere, which matters a lot when you're traveling. The room was impressive, and the massage was a proper professional Thai massage. The receptionist was so helpful: she explained everything, pointed it out on the map, and found us convenient parking. She suggested places to eat and explore, offered breakfast and a massage, and we tried both. She checked in to see how we were settling in and whether everything was all right. She even offered us different room categories and didn't seem bothered that we were only passing through for one night and chose the cheapest room.

Being right in the heart of Karlovy Vary was a real plus, and check-in was straightforward. They speak English. But we booked the Deluxe Apartment partly because of the spa and massages, and those are no longer offered, even though the website still says they are. The place was clean, but the dishes, cutlery, and refrigerator were very dirty. There was no dishwasher, and some basic cooking utensils were missing. The apartment didn't feel worthy of the "Deluxe" name. The Wi-Fi came from a restaurant a few doors away and was so poor it was only usable in the kitchen. The owner already knows about these problems, which made it more frustrating. The promised cleaning during our stay never happened. We wouldn't book again, with plenty of other options in Karlovy Vary.

It's a typical Karlovy Vary apartment, with plenty of space, good furniture, and excellent cleanliness. It's self-catering, so there's no breakfast, and the central location is a plus. Reception shuts at 9 pm, so afterward you need to use your own gate to get in. There's a spa and Thai massage center downstairs. I'd choose one of the upper floors.
