Savoy Westend Hotel

Dr. Spisak made a real difference to our stay. He listened, explained everything patiently, and approached our care in a way that made us feel we could trust him. The whole team at the Savoy was warm and welcoming, and we felt well looked after from beginning to end. The atmosphere, service, and treatments were all lovely. We left feeling healthier, refreshed, and full of energy. We can't wait to return.

We were pleased with our two weeks here and hope to come back next year. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the springs, and the food was varied and good, with options for different tastes. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bed and linens. It had a modern coffee machine and kettle, and fresh tea, coffee capsules, and honey were provided daily. It was cleaned every day too. The large balneology department has modern equipment, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The staff were helpful when we raised the room problems and moved us to another one. Our first room was cozy, but noisy, and the broken AC let it reach 25 degrees while it was 18 outside. The blinds also let in so much light that my girlfriend and I were awake around 6-7 a.m. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special for €25 a day. After checkout, we weren't allowed to use the spa or other facilities and were told to find something else to do. That seemed strange for a five-star hotel when guests can't choose their checkout time. I've always been able to stay at the pool or use other facilities after checkout elsewhere. The stay was decent, but for a five-star place those issues could have been handled better.

The food is well below average, and the hotel feels run down. The rooms and carpets smell really bad, and the building needs serious renovation. Staff barely speak any English. They advertise access to thermal water, but you have to buy procedures to bathe in it, and they mix it with tap water to cool it down. We are still staying here, and choosing this hotel was a mistake. It certainly doesn't feel like a five-star hotel.
