The breakfast was excellent, with lots of vegetarian choices: bread, salad, couscous, quinoa, vegetable cutlets, juice, fruit, muffins, and coffee. The morning staff were helpful and cheerful. The location is quite good, there’s a little balcony with a forest view, and the smart TV has lots of channels. We were in room 602 on the 5th floor. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a large fridge in the bathroom :) They changed our room without asking, and we weren’t happy with the room or facilities we got. We’d selected one double bed and two single beds, but instead got a double bed and a small sofa bed. Neither was comfortable, and the sofa bed was difficult for my wife and daughter to share. The bathroom was large, but I didn’t like the windows. People outside could see through them while someone showered or used the toilet, so we covered them with towels. There were only two chairs and no table in the room. The building and lift are old style. Parking isn’t at the hotel, it’s in a garage near Divadlo/theatre, with dark brown wooden doors and no sign on them. The lady gave us the garage keys and showed us the way. Parking is secure and costs 12 euros a day, though public parking may be cheaper. They also took a 1000 kc refundable deposit for parking, which wasn’t mentioned on the booking site. We had to leave the car for a few minutes in the paddle area while sorting it out, and worried the police might come.

The location worked really well for trips, with Diana tower uphill, the kolonáda in one direction and parks in the other. I really appreciated that. There’s also a restaurant at the hotel for guests, and the buffet breakfast was amazing. Recommended.

It’s quiet and right in the heart of the city, with clean rooms and friendly staff. I like the place and definitely recommend it, though it’s fairly ordinary, which is why I’m giving it four stars.

A very bad stay, and expensive for what you get. There’s no staff around when you need to ask something, and the reception isn’t available all the time. People there can’t speak English at all. How can someone work at reception without speaking English? One person did speak English, but was very rude and impolite. The accommodation and the people made for a really bad experience. I’ll never come back. There are plenty of other hotels around with better staff and lower prices.
