Central Park Flora

The shower was the one thing that bothered me, since I noticed traces of fungus there during my stay. Otherwise, my friend and I were pleased with the fresh cleaning in our room, and all the equipment worked properly. The staff were very friendly and spoke English and Russian. As a Ukrainian, I was happy to see Ukrainians among them. Breakfast had a rich buffet selection and was excellent, and the location was pretty neat too. It was a positive experience at a good hotel in a good city. The building is from the Soviet period, which showed in the whitewashed ceiling and fairly thin walls, but I didn't find that bad, and the walls didn't make us uncomfortable. I hope it won't bother other guests either.

The breakfast spread was generous and tasty, and everything looked really clean. We got a warm welcome at reception and all the information we needed. When we asked where to eat, they pointed us to a really nice restaurant. Our room was spacious and had a few things I hadn’t seen in hotels before, like paper tissues. 10/10, recommended!

The staff were great, and they’re very welcoming toward dogs. The hotel itself was clean, though some of the furnishings are a bit worn. Breakfast was okay. The bar, unfortunately, is very poorly equipped.

The room was hot because the air conditioning in both bedrooms wasn’t working. The receptionist knew about it but didn’t tell us beforehand, and seemed to be waiting for us to react. We got a 10% discount, which was nice, and I was actually fine with the price, but not with the heat. There were towels for only two people instead of three, the pillows weren’t comfortable, and we found a lot of dust under the furniture. It didn’t seem like the rooms were being checked properly before guests arrived. The restaurant and wellness area were closed on Sunday and the public holiday. The hotel is being renovated, and our room 303 was brand new. It was spacious, with two bedrooms and a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV in each bedroom, and a stylish bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. The breakfast was great, parking was free, and the desk staff were kind. The location is also very good, beside a nice park, with the old town just across it.
