Hotel Villa Ostrava 3+

Getting there is straightforward: follow Google Maps, then take an easy 8-minute bus ride from the Main Rail Station and walk about 5 minutes. It sits across from a lovely park in a very quiet part of the city. The rooms have a traditional, slightly old-fashioned feel, with none of that IKEA look. Breakfast is buffet-style, with plenty of choices.

The service was good, and the price was reasonable.

The breakfast had plenty to pick from, including fruit, breads, cheese, meats, beans, and cereal. When it's warm, sitting outside with tea, coffee, or juice is really relaxing. The staff were welcoming and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I liked the beautiful building, clean rooms, and the calm, elegant feel of the area, helped by the nearby park and the generally quiet surroundings. There were a couple of things that could be improved, though. The shower head leaked a little, and the bed was very uncomfortable for me, making it hard to fall asleep. That may differ from room to room and is a matter of personal preference, but I had a bad experience with it. I have mixed feelings, but I can definitely recommend the hotel.

There are plenty of trees around the garden, so the hotel feels almost like it's in the countryside, with no city noise. It's also close to the main train station and just a short walk from the centre. The clean, tidy rooms were decorated to suit the building, and the manager was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
