Hotel Adamantino

I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. The location is extremely nice, and the spa treatment was among the best I’ve had in a while. Both the sauna and ice pool were good. The swimming pool felt a little too crowded for me, with maybe too many older people for my taste. Apart from that, no complaints. I’d definitely recommend the spa and massages.

UPDATE 29/11/2023: What a change. This renovation is incredible, honestly hard to believe. It went from looking like a two or three star communist-era hotel to a four or five star place. There are plants in the rooms, brand new toilets, marble, beautiful new carpets, solid new furniture, and great lighting. It’s jaw-dropping. I’m not paid to say this. I’ve been coming here for more than six years and feel attached to the place, so I’m proud of what they’ve done. Great job! UPDATE 29/10/2022: The rooms have all been upgraded with big TVs, new furniture and carpets, curtains and blinds, plus vouchers and discount codes for drinks and services. The walls and little details have been repainted. Restored areas are back in use, including a very beautiful outdoor balcony seating area and a lovely new beer garden. Most of all, the restaurant is now modern and attractive, with a rich buffet selection. In my opinion the hotel has reached four star quality. The staff organize things really well. You’ll love it! OLD REVIEW, probably from 2018: The location is lovely, with views of an artificial lake from some rooms and a colorful forest all around. It’s a very quiet, relaxed area, right by the well-known spa town of Luhačovice. Staying at Adamantino can save you money compared with staying in Luhačovice, where everything costs more. It’s cheap: a night with breakfast could come to about 20€ per person. That included the swimming pool, pool table, parking, free wifi, and I think access to the tennis courts, maybe some other things I hadn’t discovered yet. They can also put together a larger package with massages, sauna, and whirlpool jacuzzi. The building and rooms were pretty basic and spartan then. There wasn’t much furniture, and it was old, as were the other amenities. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable, though not terrible. Don’t expect a beautifully decorated king bed: our double room just had two beds pushed together. The TV was small and old, the windows a bit dirty, and the blinds somewhat damaged. They didn’t keep out the morning sun, so we’d wake up early. The rooms had carpeting, were warm, and had good wifi. There was a great balcony with a view, and breakfast was good. Prices were very low for what you got. I’d suggest it for someone on a budget who wants to explore the area and isn’t planning to spend their stay on spa treatments at the hotel. If you want a spa-focused holiday with lots of amenities and treatments, and expect to spend a long time at the hotel, I’d choose somewhere else in Luhačovice. I gave it three stars because the furniture, doors, chairs, colors, and amenities were all very old. There wasn’t a real reason to leave them that way. Updating them could attract more customers and help guests feel more at home and want to return the next year. P.S. I’d heard they were upgrading all the rooms, but ours were still the old-fashioned ones. If I come back and see a big difference, I’ll update this.

The surroundings are just GREAT, but the hotel could be better.
