Charles Bridge Premium Apartments

The apartment itself was fine, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room in a 19th-century building. Its central Prague location is really convenient. Getting inside was the problem: even though I’d paid the deposit and given the hotel our arrival time, I wasn’t sent the entry code. After several calls, we finally got in, only to find the cleaning staff had just started. That wasn’t their fault, but the check-in and communication need work. Better customer service would make a big difference to the rating.

Check-in was simple, and you don’t even have to go to the main property. The building is beautifully done, the location is hard to beat, and the price was very reasonable. My only feedback is that the €200 deposit feels a bit high. Also, charging €5 for each bag just to leave luggage is too much.

I couldn’t travel because of a medical condition, so I asked for a refund. The reception was very impolite, and they replied that the booking couldn’t be refunded, then kept the full €1450. In this kind of business, you need to show some humanity first.

They take deposits and don’t give them back, so I’d avoid this place. If I hadn’t paid, they wouldn’t have refunded the money. This feels like a scam.
