Breakfast was very good, and the staff were kind. The rooms were comfortable, though getting to a room in the 30s meant climbing lots of stairs, so be prepared if you have big luggage. The style is a bit old, but I liked it and think it suits the hotel’s location. It’s a good hotel, not too far from two tram stops. My only negative point is that breakfast and check-in/check-out are handled at a different hotel nearby. Other than that, I recommend it.

A beautiful hotel in a historic building, very close to prague castle and other stunning monuments. If you’re into medieval style, this is the place for you.

The view from our window was lovely, and the hotel itself has a nice historic feel. Our room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Parking was the drawback: there’s none at the hotel, and tourists can’t park on the street now, so you have to use a garage.

We loved the old-fashioned romantic style of the rooms, and the beds were genuinely comfortable. The place was very clean too. It’s right in Prague’s old town, so everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. The restaurant served delicious local food. A great choice for a couples’ getaway.

The room was roomy and cozy, with a large bedroom and a good-sized bathroom. It stayed warm even with temperatures below zero, and breakfast downstairs was well catered. The hotel operates under the Golden Star Hotel up the road. We rang the bell and a very nice man came down to welcome us and show us around; the concierge at Golden Star was just as friendly and gave us lots of useful information. Prague Castle is just up the road, with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. The metro is about a ten-minute walk down a steep hill. I’d definitely recommend it.
