That fresh bread, baked on site in the morning, was warm, crunchy and something special. Breakfast was good, and our clean, comfortable room had a spectacular mountain view. The staff were helpful, and the city-center location is very good. There’s also a very good pizzeria on the first floor, so no need to go out looking for somewhere to eat. We enjoyed our family stay. Recommend!

Really good pizza, with a thin base and lots of delicious combinations. It’s a nice Italian restaurant with a live stone oven, and the service was on par. Like everything else in Spindler Mlyn, the prices are more than affordable.

I really don’t understand the three-star rating, especially for a room costing 135 € a night. Check-out is at 10.00 and check-in at 15.00. Is that normal? The breakfast was awful: three egg options, four kinds of sausage and three kinds of cheese, and you might get yogurt if you’re lucky. The bathroom was dirty, there were cobwebs on the wall, and the dryer in the toilet doesn’t heat at all. How are you supposed to dry things after skiing? You can hear all the corridor noise in the room, too. The rooms have old furniture and creaky wooden floors. Honestly, I’m shocked at how high the Google and Booking ratings are.
