The owner’s a nice lady, and the price is a steal. The place is very basic and has an 80s feel, but if you’re here to ski, party, sleep, and do it all again, it’s just right.

It’s a classic mountain chalet, nicely renovated, with new, tasteful furnishings in the rooms and a pleasant bathroom. Everything was clean, and there’s a shared room plus a well-equipped kitchenette. The accommodation is stylish and very nice in Špindlerův Mlýn, in a quiet area away from the center but still a short walk from the cable car to Medvědín. We were very satisfied.

Once we’d got checked in, everything was completely fine, and we can recommend the pension. It’s cozy, clean, and has an excellent kitchen. The problem was right after we arrived: we couldn’t reach anyone on any phone number. There were no landlines, and they didn’t know about mobile phones, so we wondered if it might be a scam, since there seem to be so many around these days. I’d suggest arranging your arrival time in advance to avoid that hassle.

Quiet spot with a view, and the service was good, probably at the neighboring “sister” pension Slavia. For Špindl, the price is excellent.
