Ferienhaus am Skihang

The area was clean, and the children’s hiking trail was great, not too hard for the little ones. There’s plenty to do with kids without spending much, since nature offers so many opportunities. The housekeeper was very friendly, and the surroundings were fantastic. I’d definitely come back. The apartment itself was a bit chilly and took ages to warm up. I also found two double beds a little meager for five people, and the couch was really uncomfortable to sleep on.

The location and surrounding area are really relaxing, and with some care the apartment could be in tip-top shape. The apartment itself was nice, but the kitchen had very little equipment and there were small issues like a loose toilet seat, a towel rack coming off, dirty corners, and missing drawer handles. Those would have been easy to overlook with friendly service. Instead, the landlord or housekeeper, who never properly introduced herself, seemed annoyed by everything and answered questions curtly, sometimes accusingly. The shower was broken too. We were told it had broken “recently” and that repair tape would arrive “tomorrow,” but we found older reviews mentioning a broken shower. At least the bathtub worked. Even then, a landlord could communicate this sort of thing politely, and it might not have been a problem. Because of the poor, very negative impression from the staff, I can’t recommend this place.

The location is great, with the wonderful Rother pastry shop within walking distance and parking right outside. We stayed outside ski season, and the large apartment had two bedrooms, a TV, and a corner bathtub, though the shower was too small. If you’re self-catering, bring nearly everything, since the kitchen didn’t even have salt. A bit more care and attention could make this a real gem. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for us at all, the other apartments were noisy, and it could have used a quick vacuum before our arrival. Still, if you bring your own supplies, you’ll be comfortably accommodated.

Way overpriced. The bed was awful, and the furnishings feel a bit dated.
