The washing machine in the bathroom and parking in the courtyard were useful, and most of the place was clean. But the kitchen needed attention: the stove was still greasy from the previous guests, the microwave was in much the same condition, and supplies were sparse, with no small forks at all. We’d booked what was described as a whole holiday home, but it was actually two apartments linked by an unsecured trapdoor and staircase. The trapdoor wasn’t shown in the booking.com photos. We kept it shut during the day, which meant we could only use the lower apartment for sleeping. With children, the setup felt unsafe, so we left after four nights. The tourist office helped us get a refund for the unused days. The double bed downstairs was comfortable, but the two so-called single beds upstairs were very uncomfortable sofa beds. In the end, all four of us squeezed into the double bed so we could sleep. For solo travelers who just need somewhere to sleep, it may be a decent inexpensive choice. For families with small children, though, it’s completely unsuitable.

We had no complaints. It’s roomy and cozy, works perfectly for families, and the welcome is warm. Definitely worth a stay! 😉
