Kurhotel Markushof

We stopped here on our way from Germany to Swotzerland, and it ended up being a highlight of the trip. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The hotel is cosy, with lots of lovely personal touches, and the food was exceptional. It's also great for young kids: they loved the little petting garden with the bunnies and the great park across the street. Highly recommended, thank you!

The service was very friendly, and my dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good too, though the waitresses were quite slow. I had to go to reception to ask for another coffee, which arrived about 15 minutes later. My single room was very clean and a good size, with nice furnishings and a modern, well-sized bathroom that had everything I needed. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Markushof is the kind of place you might expect in a village known for its baths and health facilities, with an older clientele in mind. Keeping that in mind, it’s a very nice hotel to stay and eat in. For the price, I definitely recommend it.

Even with nearly every table occupied, the food came quickly and was really good. As it got dark, they put a light on our table, and kept our fries warm right there. The staff were genuinely friendly and gave us more than we'd expect from a good restaurant. Great food, staff, and service. Easy to recommend if you're looking for a good restaurant in the area.

I only stopped for lunch at the restaurant on a Sunday. It was quite busy, but the staff welcomed us in a friendly way and the restaurant is nice. The menu is somewhat limited, with traditional dishes. Prices are fair.
