The owners made us feel so welcome, and this cozy, clean apartment felt like home during our relaxing spa week. Its location near the thermal baths is ideal. We’ve stayed here twice now, and we’ll certainly return. Thank you so much, dear Griegers! 😍

We’ve stayed in plenty of vacation apartments, and this one was easily the best. Everything we needed was there, and the bed with its topper was wonderful. The garden is a dream, unlike anything I’ve seen before. The Grieger family were super friendly and helpful, and we’d happily return to their lovely home. Thanks, Grieger family! One extra tip: we highly recommend Feuer&Stein. The outside doesn’t look like much, but for us it was the best place in town, with a lovely beer garden, a great host, and excellent food. 🙋

We found the apartment worth the money and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s cozy, well equipped, and has a lovely terrace. There are plenty of books, and thoughtful basics are supplied, from a toaster and coffee maker to dish towels, soap, toilet paper, a bottle opener, scissors, and even a fridge with a freezer compartment. Bikes can be stored there, and two are available for guests. The cycling tours are fantastic when the weather cooperates. The friendly landlord can’t control the weather, unfortunately, so we had a bit of bad luck, but the thermal baths gave us a backup plan. Entry to the baths was included with the accommodation, and we loved them. The location in Bad Bevensen is great, close to both the town center and the baths. During our stay we went by bike to a tractor museum and a cactus exhibition, and also visited Celle, Hitzacker, Lübeck, Lüneburg, Schwerin, the mill museum in Gifhorn, Timmendorfer Strand, and Boltenhagen. We had great food at the Obstscheune (fruit barn) in Uelzen, and there are several good restaurants in Bad Bevensen too.
