We were there June 16th to June 27th, 2025, in the large attic apartment, and would love to return. The Fischer family were incredibly kind and always ready to help. The balcony and garden were lovely, with a wonderful view, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the apartment was beautifully and luxuriously furnished with nothing missing. It was a fantastic vacation, 12 out of 10 stars from us. Highly recommended, and thank you so much!

We’ve already booked another stay for October, which probably says it all. We’re Allgäu fans, and the area is beautiful. In the Rotfuchs apartment, the view was lovely, especially in the evenings. The Fischer family are super nice, and we ended up chatting with them almost every day. The apartment is beautiful and has all the amenities, plus thoughtful little touches: sparkling water, chocolate on every bed, and homemade strawberry jam.

The village itself doesn’t have much going on, and its streets are quite winding, but Bad Hindelang, Sonthofen, and the Oberjoch ski area are easy to reach. From the apartment there’s a lovely valley view. It’s spacious and very well-equipped, with high-quality furnishings, and the owners are friendly. We also appreciated their bread delivery service.

We were three people staying at Schwandenhof for three days, and it was a great base for hikes. The Fischer family were friendly and helpful, and we felt very comfortable. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. We’d highly recommend it.

We were three and felt right at home in this fantastic holiday apartment. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. A bit more bathroom storage would be nice, but that’s really just nitpicking. We’d definitely come back!
