The owner is friendly, and the place is clean, but the decor feels very dated, like something from the 1970s or 80s. It works well for one night if you're passing through.

Breakfast was a waste of time for me. There wasn't a single gluten-free choice or anything for people with food allergies, and the options were very limited. The coffee wasn't very good, and the eggs were cold. We booked a double bed, but it was just two singles pushed together, so I wouldn't recommend it for a couple wanting to sleep together. My room was dirty when I arrived, with empty food wrappers under the bed, and the floor and furnishings were filthy. The balcony was dirty and moldy, too. The beds were horrible, and the sheets were paper thin. The place looks nothing like the photos online. It's very old and run down, and not attractive. Calling it a hotel feels like a stretch; it should be more like a pension or hostel.

The breakfast buffet was nice, and the prices were very affordable. It's an old-fashioned German-style hotel. I can only recommend it!

The service was unpleasant, and the rooms were dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
