The Steakhaus restaurant was the highlight for me. The food was outstanding, with a good choice of sides and wines to go with it. The dining room had a lively, welcoming feel, and the staff were attentive, friendly and knew the menu well. My room was spacious, clean and ready with what I needed. The bed was comfortable, the large bathroom was spotless and everything in it worked well. Wi-Fi stayed reliable throughout. The hotel combines traditional character with modern comforts, and the staff made me feel at home from arrival, warm and professional. Hotel & Steakhaus Ochsen in Bad Saulgau made a strong impression. I had a very comfortable stay and would gladly return or recommend it, whether visiting for work, leisure or passing through.

We stayed six nights during a fair and would happily return next year. The rooms were very clean, roomy and had a comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were both good, with a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were especially kind and helpful when we ran into car trouble. It's all right in the middle of a lovely German town, and well worth it.

A family-run place right in the town center, with lots of parking. The steaks were amazing, service was great and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended!

We spent four days here. The hotel is small, though the rooms are very large, with high-quality furniture. The bathrooms are roomy too, and the bed and mattress were a delight. Friendly hosts and a great restaurant made it a full five-star stay. Thank you, Ochser!

The server made us feel like her only customers, and the fresh food was made with local ingredients. Such an amazing experience, easily a 5+ rating!
