The Harz region has lovely nature and peaceful surroundings, and the hotel made a great place to stay. Our room was excellent, and breakfast offered enough choice, with fresh fruit and food. The employees were kind and always willing to help. We absolutely recommend it for a quality stay here. Hope to return next year!

The price felt fair, and we’d be glad to come back. We stayed over Pentecost weekend; the staff and new owner were friendly. The single rooms were small but clean and reasonably equipped. My balcony was enormous, even bigger than the room, but there was nowhere to sit. Breakfast was fresh and enough, though the selection wasn’t especially extensive.

The staff were friendly, and for the price we weren’t expecting more. The hotel is small and cozy, and getting around is convenient by car. Without one, finding dinner is a real challenge since there are no restaurants or cafes nearby. The rooms need renovation, and breakfast is average, European-style. We paid €14 in tourist tax for four people at check-in.
