Hostel Tres Schick

The building has an antique look, but everything feels old and poorly maintained. The showerhead was rusty, the kitchen messy and nearly unusable, and the bedding didn’t feel clean. The beds were inconvenient too, with no power outlet for the upper bunk and no light for the lower one. During low season there was absolutely no staff, not even at reception, and no one in charge. That made the place feel unsafe and completely uncontrolled. Around 12:30 a.m., several male guests were drinking and partying loudly in the shared kitchen, playing music like they were in a club and shouting for hours. Someone asked them to quiet down, but they laughed and carried on. I couldn’t sleep after waking up at midnight. No other hostel keeps a common area open around the clock right beside guest rooms without supervision. The soundproofing was nonexistent, so I could hear every sound from other rooms and the hallway, including people talking all day. The self check-in was completely analog. I had questions during check-in and never got proper answers or a solution from the owner, who was quite unfriendly.
