Hotel Le Baldinger

Having a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher in the two-bedroom accommodation was handy. It’s a great hotel right in the center.

The building is beautiful, and the elevator makes it accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and people with disabilities. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, including the large bathrooms, and they were cleaned every day. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including hot bacon, boiled eggs, omelets, and lots of bread with salami and cheese. We arrived late, but the detailed check-in instructions made getting into our rooms easy. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely honeymoon stay at Hotel Le Baldinger, and they made it feel extra special. It’s close to Bamberg Old Town but still quiet and relaxing. When we come back to Bamberg, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

The old residential building has been turned into a hotel in a really impressive way. Its creaky old floors, updated walls and stairs, and modern decor give it a distinctive charm, while the rooms have modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Le Baldinger really does feel like a boutique hotel in the best sense. It’s right downtown, easy to reach, with parking nearby. There’s also a restaurant, cafe, and bar in the courtyard, all with plenty of charm. My one disappointment was breakfast coffee: they use a fully automatic machine for espresso and cappuccino, while the beautiful espresso machine seems to be just decoration. The staff were friendly and helpful.
