Ferienwohnung Kiliansblick in der Kilianmühle

The Angerer family made us feel very welcome, always approachable and happy to give tips for outings or a good meal. No question went unanswered. From the farm, just outside Berchtesgaden and close to a main road, it’s easy to explore the lovely surrounding area. We spent our summer vacation here and found a very well-maintained farm, with beautifully landscaped grounds, play areas, and enclosures for rabbits and goats. In the cowshed there were curious cows and, during our stay, a few very young calves 🐮. We had a wonderful time.

We’ll definitely come back. The host family at the Kilianmühle organic farm were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. We spent some wonderful days in their well-kept, nicely furnished apartment, and the landscaped garden was a lovely place for guests of every age to unwind. Best wishes from Biblis.

For our hiking outings, a shower and bed would usually have been enough, but there was much more here. The place was very tidy and clean, and the hosts were incredibly kind. We also enjoyed having lovely animals around. We stayed for a week and were absolutely delighted. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Best wishes.

The hosts gave us great suggestions for an even lovelier hiking route when I had to leave my fishing rod behind. I’d hoped to fish, since there’s a turquoise mountain river just a short walk from this wonderfully quiet farm, with its own swimming spot and trout. It’s clearly run with a lot of passion. Everything is well cared for and thoughtfully arranged. You can pet the cows, help with milking, watch the goats, and play with the cats. Animal-loving adults will enjoy it just as much as kids. It’s also a great starting point for hikes, and Berchtesgaden is about a 35-minute walk along the beautiful river. The evening light as the sun disappears behind the mountains is especially magical. We stayed a week and wished we could’ve stayed forever. If I could give more stars, I would. We’ll definitely be back.
