The food was absolutely delicious, proper home cooking like Grandma's. We tried the daily meatballs with mashed potatoes and the veal schnitzel with potato salad. The owner was in the kitchen while his wife looked after the guests, and the staff were warm and attentive. We dropped in spontaneously on Thursday night. It's a cozy restaurant with decor that mixes traditional and modern touches. It's a welcoming Bavarian place, though a little out of the way. I'd definitely suggest people from Fürstenfeldbruck (FFB) or Darmstadt (DAH) make the drive and enjoy a meal.

The renovated dining room is lovely, and the service is friendly and attentive. Alongside the classics, there are varied dishes, and the short standard menu is supplemented by tasty weekly specials. The food is consistently excellent, and this is one of the district's best and busiest inns, in my view. There's also a nice wine selection and good beer. We'll be back for sure. Thank you!
