We were held at the border because our child didn't have a passport, and the police took us to the station to check that the child traveling with us was ours. We were due to arrive at 6 p.m., so there was no way we could have explained the situation earlier. I wrote to the hotel about why we couldn't come and asked for a refund, but they refused. They said that since they'd sent the room key, they wouldn't return the money, even though we never stayed there. It was a very important reason for missing the booking, and the hotel's response was very poor. We wanted to come another time because we really do have to travel to Germany, but now I can't recommend this place. When problems come up, it seems the hotel's financial gain is all that matters.

The beds and shower were good, and the small rooms did what we needed. There are only 3 parking spots at the hotel, so you'll most likely need to find a free space on the nearby streets. Traffic outside is noisy, and with the poor ventilation you need to open a window for fresh air, so I'd recommend ear plugs.

There are multicultural supermarkets near the hotel, and you can get to the inner city in 20 minutes. It's a great place to stay if you want somewhere clean and comfortable to rest and work.

The booking was the negative part. There were rooms available, but I had to pay 22,00 € more when reserving the second room. The accommodation itself was a very positive experience: simple, comfortable and very clean, so I recommend it. I booked because it was near the company where I had a meeting, and if I go to Berlin again, I'll stay there if there's space.

A very basic hotel, without extras. The mattress is on the hard side, and there's no heating at night. You can smell the neighbor smoking in his bathroom, though it goes away when you switch on the light or fan.
