It’s an easy place to stay for a few days in Berlin, with roomy rooms and close access to Spandau’s old town. You can take the metro into central Berlin. The room has shampoo, hand soap, a hairdryer, coffee maker and coffee, plus a toaster. The blankets and pillows didn’t smell musty, though the pillows were very soft and thin. There’s room for four people, but only two chairs. I noticed a few cobwebs too, though nothing serious. I’d recommend it.

We had a kitchenette with dishes in the apartment, plus a toaster, coffee maker, and kettle, so self-catering was easy. The location was great, quiet, and near lots of shops.

We expected more from the online description. The hotel feels dated, and the sofa was so worn and unattractive that we didn’t even want to sit on it.

We stayed in this cute apartment last year for the Lionel Richie concert at the Citadel. It was barely over a five-minute walk away!

It’s shabby, even though the room is large. At least it’s reasonably clean.
