The room was spacious, but that was about the only good part. There’s no supermarket nearby and the location wasn’t great. Our main problems were the air conditioning, the shower, and the lack of water. The shower has no curtain, and the wall remote for the in-room AC seemed useless because they had all rooms set to 24 degrees. Reception told us to open a window, so what’s the point of having AC? There was no fridge or water in the room either, and the only toiletries were shower gel and shampoo. We were so disappointed we’d have left if we could get a refund. We won’t return, and we’d rather book an apartment next time.

Rayen, the breakfast hostess, was especially welcoming and attentive to every request. Originally from Chile, she was also instrumental in helping us get a room upgrade. Her motivation and clear passion for the job make her a real asset to the hotel. IHG has put together an excellent team, and the staff, especially the two girls, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.

The room had a Bluetooth panel speaker that started up with a really loud sound. I’m sure I could hear them booting up from three floors down and ten rooms away! I was in an accessible room, with lots of space, but no shower curtain 😂 It’s a pretty nice hotel, though its location depends on where you need to be and is quite far from restaurants.

There’s a cafe and bar in the lobby where you can spend some time. Just know this isn’t actually a Holiday Inn, but a property in the IHG network, which might confuse people looking for a Holiday Inn sign on the building. The rooms are modern and clean, the beds and pillows are really comfortable, and the staff are amazingly helpful and courteous.

The receptionists were nice and friendly, but the hotel isn’t very tourist friendly. The nearest S-Bahn is a 12-minute walk, and local restaurants are about 8-10 minutes away. The room itself was comfortable, though the toilet is badly designed and always wet. Cleaning wasn’t thorough either.
