The room had around six bunk beds, so there were twelve beds, but only four were occupied during my stay. It was all very clean, including the bathroom in the room. I had a great time at this hostel when I visited Berlin in May 2014. The one bad point was the table: a piece of broken wood on its surface gave me a pretty painful cut. Still, I highly recommend the place.

The staff didn’t seem especially bothered when I got bitten all over by bed bugs, and I couldn’t tell whether they were supposed to be there. One night I was woken by people fighting in a nearby dorm. On my first night, someone was in my bed who wasn’t even supposed to be at the hotel. The whole place felt like a chaotic mess.

Everything was good, from the rooms and staff to the kitchen. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations nearby make it easy to get around, so I’d definitely recommend it.

Good service, and the railway station for the S42 and U6 is nearby.
