The location worked really well for us, with lots of cafés, restaurants, bars, and places where locals spend time nearby. The metro and tram are close, and the trip to the center took about 15-20 minutes. Check-in and check-out were easy, we got regular WhatsApp updates, and we had no problems during the stay. Our room was a good size with high ceilings, excellent heating, and internet as fast as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom came with shampoo and conditioner. We didn’t mind that there were no toothbrushes, cotton pads, or slippers. I especially liked having a coffee and tea maker and plant-based milk. The workspaces in the entrance hall came in handy for a few meetings, and free coffee and tea in the kitchen were a nice extra. We didn’t have the room cleaned during our three days, but we hadn’t asked for it. This was our first stay at a Numa hotel, and we’ll book one again next time without hesitation.

The location and easy check-in and check-out were real pluses. The mattress felt quite worn on one side, and sound carries: we could hear the elevator moving and corridor doors opening and slamming. Most people would probably be fine, and with earplugs the noise didn’t bother us. Room service isn’t included for stays under seven nights, though you can pay extra for it. Otherwise, we had a good experience.

The bathroom was awful: it smelled bad, the sink was clogged, and there was no shower hanger. The spare duvet for the sofa bed also had large blood stains on it. That was unacceptable. The flat was dirty when we arrived, and there’s no cleaning during the stay. Guests are expected to get fresh towels and sheets themselves from the laundry room. Nobody washes the dishes or tops up the essentials, and there’s no one available in person or online to deal with complaints. The listing suggested a flat with a separate bedroom and lounge, but everything was in one room. It felt like a hostel rather than an apartment. At around €200 a night, I expected basic cleanliness and service. I strongly recommend avoiding it and booking a proper hotel instead.

The room was small, but it was enough for me. I liked the shared spaces for working, eating, preparing food, and having coffee. If you think of it as a high-end hostel, it’s perfect.
