STAYERY Berlin Friedrichshain

I had an issue with my room, but they upgraded me straight away. The staff were great throughout. The hotel is modern and cozy, right in the heart of Friedrichshain, with good bakeries, brunch spots, and restaurants nearby. A great place to stay.

The room had a good bed, a nice kitchen, and strong water pressure. I asked for a room at the back rather than facing the street, and it was quiet at night. On one of the six nights, I could hear people upstairs moving furniture all evening, but that was the only noise. There’s also a shared space with books and games, and the self check-in was easy. It had a cozy Airbnb feel while still being as clean as a hotel. The interior is stylish and minimal, the staff are very friendly and ready to help, and there are lots of nice restaurants around the corner. The station is ten minutes away. The mattress is 140, which was perfect for me on my own. Really nice vibe, I’d definitely come back.

The room was thoughtfully laid out, with a table for meals, a small sofa to relax on, and a comfortable cushioned spot to use a computer. I especially loved how spacious the bathroom was. The beds had nice linens, and the kitchenette was well equipped. Everything was perfect. Thanks, and I hope I get the chance to stay with you again.

After my flight, I arrived to find a dirty, used bed, dirty towels, and bits of toilet paper on the floor. I called reception and was told they’d check with someone about whether another room was available. They never called back, even after 54 minutes, and then stopped answering the phone. The room was dirty and the service was bad. Stay away.
