The bathroom smelled bad, and the shower only had a curtain instead of a proper enclosure. Our room also wasn’t cleaned or the bed made on the second day. The receptionist was really kind, though, and the location is great.

The lobby and restaurant were nice, and breakfast there was good. The rates were reasonable too. The room was the letdown: sparse, tired-looking and in need of serious renovation. It wasn’t offensive, but I was glad to be there only one night. This was a late booking for a Berlin business trip, and it was the last hotel available.

The reception staff were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the place. The rooms are small, with old décor and smoke embedded in them. The internet drops often, and every time it does, you have to type the password again. It’s outrageously expensive for what you get. I was invited to breakfast and then chased for payment, though nobody at reception had told me it wasn’t included. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere nice in Berlin. Wyndham in its darkest hour. Avoid.

The rooms were okay and breakfast was good. The location near Ku'Damm was great, and the staff were friendly. But the person we asked about the city couldn’t give us even basic information.

The location was good, but the bed was too small for two people, and I didn’t think much of the breakfast.
