The location was the one good thing, but overall I don't think this place is good value for the money. The rooms are extremely small, poorly ventilated, and the windows don't open properly. The bathroom is tiny and uncomfortable to use, and the dark colors and lighting make the room feel depressing and uninviting. Cleanliness was disappointing too. The bed linen and cover sheets didn't look changed, one towel smelled strange, and another had visible hairs on it. There were hairs on the bedding as well. There were also notices apologizing that some room numbers would have limited privacy because of renovations. I stayed here yesterday and wouldn't recommend it.

The room was clean, the beds really comfortable, and for what we paid I don't think we'd have found a better deal. The staff are what set this hotel apart: every one of them was super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Beatrice, I hope that's her name, the receptionist with glasses. I'd highly recommend staying here.

I had a really upsetting stay at easyHotel Berlin near Hackescher Markt/Rosenthaler Platz. After checkout, I accidentally left several personal things in the room, including a backpack, clothes, chargers, and skincare items. They were clearly my belongings, not rubbish, but housekeeping threw them away instead of keeping them as lost property. When I contacted the hotel, the response was hostile and extremely unprofessional. Management blamed me and made exaggerated claims about the room instead of addressing what happened. Their email was dismissive and disrespectful, with no empathy, proper investigation, or real effort to resolve the issue. Mistakes can happen at any hotel, but this was handled badly. If something goes wrong, you may not get fair or supportive treatment here. I wouldn't stay again and can't recommend it.

The room was pleasant, though nothing fancy, and suited the price. It was quite cheap even though we booked three nights over Christmas. What really stood out was Nico at reception. My friend and I asked his name for this review, haha. He was so friendly and upbeat, helped us print some tickets, and gave us useful tips about the city. I think he worked evenings, so it was nice to get such a warm greeting whenever we came back in the afternoon or evening. Nico, it was lovely meeting you. Hope you're doing well!
