Carmen and her team’s breakfast was the highlight. I had it every morning, and you really shouldn’t skip it. The street is quiet and residential but still very central, so it’s easy to get around. I loved Wil7 during my six-night business trip. The hotel is on the ground floor of an apartment building, so it may not suit you if you don’t like apartment living. It has more of a charming urban B&B feel than a Courtyard Marriott, so if that’s what you’re expecting, look elsewhere. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with thoughtful, high-quality touches: Grown Alchemist products in the bathroom, excellent coffee and tea, and a stocked minibar. The shower was amazing. I’d strongly recommend Wil7 and would definitely stay again if I return to Berlin.

This is a boutique-style place with excellent rooms and breakfast, and it gave me an authentic local Berlin feel. It isn’t a standard chain hotel. The rooms are in three groups on the ground floor of a classic apartment building, with high ceilings, wide hallways, and a pleasant shared courtyard. The neighborhood is busy and working class. You might occasionally see a drunk person or kids with graffiti and loud music, as can happen around urban apartment buildings. If you want a conventional hotel or feel uneasy in a socioeconomically mixed area, you may be better off in the tourist quarters. But if you want to feel a bit like a Berlin resident, with access to tourist sights and museums and walking distance to K-burg’s markets, restaurants, and plenty of good doner kebab, it’s a great fit. Doner Plus and Mustafa’s are very close. The rooms are fairly large, the beds are great, and the showers get 9.5/10. In-room amenities are very good, and the WiFi is fast and stable. Breakfast stood out, with customized table service from a good team and superior, Australia-grade coffee. My only change would be bigger TVs, since the ones in the rooms are tiny. Fantastic value for a personalized boutique stay.

Carmen and her team have made this place feel really unique, cozy, and welcoming. The people are kind, the location is convenient, the beds are super comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. What a special spot!
