Villa-Hufeland

The place has a fantastic artistic feel, with a lot of history in the atmosphere.

We spent a week here and had a really lovely stay. My daughter especially enjoyed sleeping in the higher bed. The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us warmly once we got inside. Getting in was a little odd, though: we’d been told to ring the bell, but there wasn’t one at the gate or by the front door. My daughter noticed the door was open and went in. After that, there’s really nothing to complain about, especially once you know how entry works.

The hosts, Mr. Odin and Mrs. Ehrlich, were warm and helpful, and our old dog got along perfectly with the cats. We felt very at home at Villa Hufeland, with its lovely atmosphere, garden, and beautifully designed apartment. The furnishings were charming throughout. The only difficulty for us older folks was that the stairs up to the bedroom were a bit steep. We’ll definitely return.

The neighborhood around Villa Hufeland is quiet, which we really liked. You can walk to several shops, and public transport is easy to reach. The S-Bahn gets you to central Berlin in about 30 minutes. We stayed three nights in a lovely apartment, and the host was very friendly. We’d gladly come back.
