The balcony was lovely, surrounded by greenery, and we had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was comfortable, and the area was quiet and really convenient. The hosts were very helpful. The building itself isn’t particularly attractive, but don’t let that put you off. The main drawback was the kitchen. There weren’t enough utensils to cook even a fairly basic meal. The kitchen and bathroom could both use an update.

A great host and a nice apartment in a lovely neighbourhood with a calm but lively feel. The first night, a loud neighbour downstairs kept me awake until 2am with her laughter and stomping, possibly in high heels. Luckily I found earplugs in the bathroom the next day, and slept like a baby the night after.

When we arrived, we found out the elevator wasn’t working, and it stayed out of order for our whole visit. That meant dealing with five floors, and nobody had told us in advance. On our departure day, they asked us to leave at 11:00, even though our flight wasn’t until 22:00. We asked if we could leave our luggage there, but they wouldn’t let us, so we had to carry it around all day. That’s just not cool.

They’re badly organised, rude, and inflexible. Instead of finding solutions that don’t inconvenience guests, they expect guests to work around their shortcomings. The owner said he’s currently in the US. Maybe he can learn a thing or two about customer service there.

The place has a real lived-in feel, and the location is excellent. The mattress was too soft for me.
