Our bags were stolen on the way to Cochem, so we had to cancel at the last minute. The hotel manager refunded the full amount without asking any questions. Many thanks to them. We hope to reschedule and visit soon.

We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it and would come back. The room was clean and fresh, it was very quiet, and breakfast was fresh with plenty to eat.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bed and a great shower. There’s also a lovely little bar/cafe downstairs. We were in Room 1, just above the first set of stairs, so we heard people coming in and going to their rooms, the loud bathroom fans, and the breakfast room being set up. The upside was having just one flight of stairs. At breakfast the coffee pots were only half full and there was just a teaspoon of cream in the jugs, so we had to ask for more.

The owners were really friendly, and the place was clean. It’s fine for a short visit, though I wouldn’t recommend staying for long. Our room was very dark, but you don’t spend much time in your room in Cochem. Breakfast was nothing special, though there was enough to fill you up.

Good overall, with clean rooms. The smallest room has a very narrow bathroom. If you’re hiking the Moselsteig, the hotel is right on the route.
