Such a lovely Germany vibe, right underneath that castle 🏰. I'd really recommend staying at least one night.

We only stayed one night, but the area deserves a few days, and the Gusthof is a great place for a 1-3 day visit. It was so quiet that I slept like a baby, with no noise or industrial light. The rooms are large and comfortable, and everything was clean, including the laundry, towels, rooms, and surroundings. Wi-Fi was excellent, parking was plentiful, and breakfast was decent. We got in late on a Ruhetag and didn't try the restaurant, but the owner kindly offered us sandwiches and a glass of beer.

The spaetzle was excellent, and everything else we ate was delicious and well priced. Dinner here turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The place felt homey and cosy, and the waitress was wonderful and very friendly.
