Hotel Ayun by Centro Comfort

We had a miserable 3 nights and no other choice. The shower backed up until there were 3 in of water in the bathroom, the refrigerator didn't work, and the safe was locked and unusable. There was no coffee or tea in the room, and they tried to charge us for it in the evening. We picked the hotel to be close to the Fair and avoid taking a taxi, but when you add it all up, that was the only good thing.

The staff were friendly, did their jobs well, and let us leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The service was great, and the hotel is one of the cheapest ways to rent a whole room in the city. Still, I wouldn't return. The location wasn't convenient. There's an abandoned factory next door, and it felt a bit frightening, especially at night, though I don't know the actual crime rate. The room had what a traveller needs, but was a bit small for two. There were some insects inside, which I guess is okay given it was the end of spring. The furniture has definitely seen a lot of use.

The room was pretty ugly, with a view of the backyard, but it was quiet and we slept well. The pillows weren't the best, the bathroom was tiny and only fit one person at a time, and there was no AC. Breakfast was quite nice, though they took a while to refill the food. We stayed 3 nights. It was a 25 min walk to the centre, 5 min to the train station, and 7 min to Lidl.

The bed and pillow were comfortable, but the room lights were distributed unevenly and didn't brighten it well. Bathroom cleaning was average. Breakfast was included and reasonably okay, and my one might stay was okay overall.
