The apartment building is in an area that isn’t very touristy, so it feels like you’re living among locals. It’s well-kept and furnished, and the owners were accommodating and easy to reach throughout our trip. The room was clean and comfortable, with the basic necessities provided. The train, cathedral, restaurants, and stores are all within walking distance, which saved us cab rides. It’s also 15 minutes from the airport, making travel easy overall. Looking forward to my next trip to Cologne!

We were a couple visiting Cologne for the weekend and were glad we booked here. Check-in was quick and easy with the modern PIN system, and the room was great, including a rain shower in the bathroom. The staff were very customer-oriented and ready to help whenever we called. When I had a complaint, they sorted it out positively right away. Great value for the price. Thanks, we’ll happily book again 🙂

The bed was comfortable, and the place was fine for a night in Cologne. Beyond that, I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay. The room was small and not cleaned well, with lots of dust, a dead wasp on the floor, and dirty walls and curtains. There was a weird smell in both the room and bathroom, and the Wi-Fi worked but had a very weak signal. There aren’t any facilities or breakfast options, no kitchenette or breakfast hall, and no (bi-)daily cleaning. The price wasn’t lower than nearby hotels, either. In summer there’s no way to cool the room, there are no insect screens on the windows, and there’s no elevator to get luggage to the second floor. The location isn’t great, either.

The high-tech check-in meant I didn’t have to talk to any staff, which makes this a perfect place for introverts. I recommend it to friends and relatives because it’s near the trade fair centers. The hotel is cozy, clean, and stylish, with excellent customer service, good security, and attention to detail. I really liked my stay and look forward to coming back on my next trip.

The Cathedral and Chocolate Museum were two of our favorite stops, and both are close to the apartment. Schildergasse is handy for shopping, too. We were in Cologne at the last minute and had forgotten quite a few things, but the apartment had towels, a hairdryer, an ironing board, and everything else we needed. The coffee was really good. We barely had time to cook, so the owners’ restaurant tips helped a lot. They looked after us so warmly it felt like staying with family. While you’re in town, try Kölsch beer, Mettbrötchen, and Himmel un Ääd.
